IF YOU ARRIVE BY CAR

From the highways A12 Genova-Livorno or A15 Parma-La Spezia, exit at “La Spezia-S.Stefano di Magra” tolbooth and follow the direction to La Spezia. After 5 km of road junction you enter the city. Following the signs for Cinque Terre, pass the seafront and then skirt the walls of the military Arsenal. Keep continuing along the walls to the left and then pass the municipal stadium A. Picco. When you arrive to the crossroards, go straigh uphill towards Riomaggiore-Manarola along the S.P. n° 370 “Litoranea delle Cinque Terre” (coast road). Follow it to the crossroads for Riomaggiore and then continue for another 2 km enjoying the panoramic road downhill.

ATTENZIONE AL PARCHEGGIO!!!

Riomaggiore is a small village closed to traffic. The public car park is located at the entrance of the village but there are very few parking lots, they cost 35 euros a day and cannot be reserved in advance. We therefore do not guarantee that you will find a place on arrival. We therefore suggest:

  • to book in advance our private oarking lot at the price of 30 Euros per night (upon availability)
  • or to leave the car in La Spezia (which also means avoiding the long queues on the coastal road, especially in high season) and to reach Riomaggiore by train (only one stop and 10 minutes journey).
